I was born and raised in Russia, Moscow but since I was 13 I've moved to England. I graduated from Portsmouth University with a degree in Business and Management. Now I'm back to Moscow but mostly I travel a lot due to my profession. I work as freelance photographer these days and sometimes shoot in different commercial to photoshoots as model/actor. Married to Vladimir, my husband who I usually travel with. Studying part-time forensic psychology (here comes my inner detective haha). Absolutely passionate about travelling and meeting new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and I want to explore more beautiful countries while I have an opportunity to do so. I also love meeting new people and getting to know new cultures! Staying with someone on CS seems like the best way to get to know another city or country,

Interests

I'm a vocational dancer, photo model and photographer, I enjoy traveling and cooking and meeting people with same interests as mine would be so great! I worked in fintech and consulting in the beginning of my career, then pursued in event management and music industry! Have worked for FIFA and brought World Cup to Moscow in 2018! So I'm very keen in football! I create unique travel itineraries as a hobby and would totally love to take a photoshoot for my hosts, guests or someone I'm meeting up with!

Music, Movies, and Books

ROCK MUSIC FROM 70s - 90s! I was definitely born in the wrong century! Queen, The Doors, Davis Bowie, AC/DC, Rolling Stones and so on! Also EDM music is another passion of mine - hola at Tomorrowland and Ultra lovers!

In terms of movies, I love watching dramas mostly, favourite film directors are David Fincher, Quentin Tarantino, Damien Chazelle and Robert Zemeckis. I have a thing for Sci-Fi, so anything space related has all my attention except Stars Wars (sorry SW fans)! Also a massive LOTR fan (Lord of the Rings).

Netflix shows that I've seen and that impressed me are: Mindhunter, Maniac, Narcos, Altered Carbon, Stranger Things, Black Mirror, House of Cards and Money Heist. Favourite show of all times is undoubtedly Breaking Bad.

Astonished by English, American and Russian literature, my favourite authors are Thomas Hardy, William Shakespeare, Charlotte and Emily Bronte, Jane Austen, Francis S. Fitzgerald, Ray Bradbury, Ernest Hemingway, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Leo Tolstoy, Anton Chekhov, Ivan Bunin, Alexander Kuprin, Alexander Pushkin and many more!

My current mission is to make world a better place (might sound a bit cliche but it truly is). I never judge anyone based on their opinion, looks, religion, skin colour or orientation and expect same in return. I treat people with respect because I believe the energy you share with someone is the energy you get in return. And I also believe that I can learn from people that I meet in this life and all of them are a valuable experience to me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Tell you endless stories about my travel experiences! I’ve been to many countries and hence created plenty of travel itineraries (it's called travel design) so there’s a lot to talk about!
Would totally take pictures of you and would send them to you edited with the original files attached!
Can help someone to practise their Russian language if they learn it!
I read a lot of books, articles and journals, enjoy cinematography and film critisicm, so we can always discuss a book or a film! Open to conversations about psychology (forensic psychology in particular), self development, modern technologies (AI, crypto, NFTs), sociology, also politics (but would understand if this stays a forbidden topic - guess I'm too openminded sometimes!).
Apart from the above, I will absolutely bring you sweets and a souvenir from mother Russia if you're hosting, or if I do! (if you have gluten allergy or are vegan please let me know in advance!)
