I am 21 year old Ukrainian from Kyiv, on my way to obtaining Bachelors of Science in Biology. I travel a lot, there was even a period of my life when I lived in US and Canada (due to exchange and research programs for students).

I am outgoing, open-minded, friendly, responsible and polite person, I enjoy listening to other people’s stories and sharing mine. I am artistic, I draw, paint and dance. Also, I used to do modeling.

Cannot change for some reason Experience Graph in profile, but I hosted and surfed before. I hosted some people in Kyiv and was hosted by others in various Ukrainian cities, in Warsaw, Stockholm, Uppsala and Venice. Everything was just fine, that’s why I surf again!

Our world is amazing and traveling broadens mind in a wonderful way. When I travel, I learn a lot from people and their culture, history and arts. Also, considering the fact, that I am yet a student and most of my time is taken by studies and work in lab, I cannot land a full-time job yet, so I cannot cover all expenses for trips. Still, I think that I cannot let myself live years of my life without flying anywhere, discovering new counties and cultures. Furthermore, couch-surfing provides a wonderful and unique experience of live communication with local people that helps every traveller to make the trip especially remarkable

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I read a lot. It is my favorite leisure activity. I prefer books to movies and TV-shows, as I can imagine on my own the world and characters of the story. I do not listen to music often, only when I draw or paint just not to be distracted and when I sit in a car/train/plain during the long journey and wait till I arrive to the destination point.

I am Biology student, so if you are really into science like me - we will definitely have a lot to discuss. I can teach you languages I speak, share my travel experience. I can tell you what Ukraine is and what it is like to be born and raised in a country of Post-Soviet Union. But more importantly, I can show you how unique and charming our culture is! And, surely, I would love to listen to your stories and learn more about a country I came to, that will help me to discover a little more of our beautiful world.
