I'm an academic geek who loves history, religion, travelling, Star Wars and fun (movies, concerts, dancing).
I write and paint and I am also liberal in my political views, which means that I welcome any gender, sexuality, religion and race. I have experience with everything from street performers to trans people.
My apartment is close to the sea, which is a big bonus if you come at summer.
I will happily give you a crash course in Swedish culture and practical details if you are in need of it.
My home is also allergy friendly, which means no pets, no strong scents and no smoking indoors.

I love meeting new people and are willing to host people from all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a broad taste in music. I listen to everything from Marilyn Manson to happy eighties pop. Jazz, classical music and new wave works as well as glam rock, folk, indie and hard rock.

I have seen a lot of movies and have a number of favorites, depending on the genre and era. Here's a few examples: Apocalypse Now, V for Vendetta, Breakfast Club, The Sixth Sense, The Lost Boys, Star Wars, Francis Coppola's Dracula, The Hannibal movies, Wuthering Heights (1939) and Thelma & Louise.

I devour books like candy. Mostly non-fiction, but several fictional tales, both as comic books and common books, have captured me: V for Vendetta, Sandman, From Hell, 1984, Club Dumas, Wuthering Heights, Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, Harry Potter, Catch 22, The Shining, H P Lovecraft's novels, The Silmarillion, Candide, Let the right one in, Edgar Allan Poe's novels, The Dice man.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Sneaking up on Tony Blair while he was Prime Minister, with neither him or his lifeguards noticing until I was half a yard away.

-Participated in an epic voodoo ritual on All Hallow's Eve in New Orleans.

- Had half an hour conversation with Alan Rickman without knowing who he was until afterwards. (I thought he was a homeless man and offered him food!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you around, teach you about Swedish culture (both local and national) and history. I am specifically educated in pre-christian Sweden and it's religion, rites and magic and know several old cult sites.

I also know where the LGBTQ-Clubs are and will accompany you there if you like.

I can teach you basic Swedish.

I'll gladly guide you to great places to eat and have fun, depending on your concept of fun. I can cook and will share a meal with you if we have the time.
I know the town and its surrounding quite well and can give you suggestions on good places to visit, both in town and in nature.

I am an educated masseur and if I am fed dark chocolate I will give you a good rub (without happy endings or general sleaziness)

I know how to sew if you need any clothes repaired.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can give you a professional massage and teach you basic Swedish or English.
I am also educated in acupressure with a specialization to ease pain.

I am a teacher in yoga and tantra and if you want an introduction, I will gladly show you. (If Tantra, then with clothes on. No intentions to overstep boundaries and be a crappy guest.)

I am extrovert and will not mind being a good company.
Also, as a curiosity, I know how to do divination in runes and draw portraits.
