My name is Arin Deveci, my friends sometimes call me Aj. I am Australian Born with Turkish background.

I am fun, social and open minded. Respectful, honest and hygenic. I'm all about good vibes and believe in magic of the universe!

I graduated with a Diploma in Event Management. I volunteer at the dog shelter some Mondays. I love all animals. I have a dog at home who is pretty much like my child 😂

What seems like a lifetime ago, I use to play representative soccer. Eventually I got sick of chasing a ball around and started to coach an All Age Womens State League team for 2 years.
Now to keep fit my dog Buddy and I go on bushwalks, bike rides and i have recently taken a fast liking to Yoga.

Music is very important to me and my taste is very broad as you will see below. I use to play the Piano but haven't been put to the test in years.

I still have a yearning for a good night life. I love a social drink with great company and good conversation and am always down to party but am just as happy on the couch.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im on Couchsurfing because i understand how appreciated a place to sleep, a warm shower and a friend is when travelling.

The connections made when travelling are second to none. I am very intrigued with different cultures and ways of life across the globe.

I believe the best way to experience a country's true culture is 'off the beaten path'. I want to eat where the locals eat, party where the locals party, live amongst it all and experience the culture from a local; And all the touristy stuff ofcourse.

I enjoy a good conversation. Whether you want to do this over Wine, Vodka, Beer or Orange Juice.. There is always laughs to be had ☺

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my Job, rented my house out and packed my bags for 6 months of travelling with zero plans. Sometimes scary, sometimes lonely, but definately so fulfilling and exciting at the same time.

Seeing Michael Jackson live in concert was definitely a highlight (although I was 12).

I lived the simple life on a remote island in Fiji for 2 weeks.
