Overview
About Me
My name's Arinjay and I've lived in Los Angeles pretty much my entire life. I graduated from the University of Southern California for undergrad in 2014 and have been working in healthcare ever since. My hobbies include photography, hiking, exercising, reading, writing, watching movies and hanging out with friends (if you count this as a hobby). I also love to travel and explore the hidden gems of every city I visit. Some of my favorite cities that I’ve visited recently are Mexico City, Tokyo, and Montreal.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and meet new people, especially from different countries. I've noticed that every time I travel, the best memories I make are with locals who I meet who show me around the "non-touristy" parts of the city. Since I've had so many good experiences with other people showing me around their homes, I wanted to become a part of the community and make others' experiences in Los Angeles wonderful as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a really open minded person and listen to/watch/read anything and everything. But if I had to choose favorites:
Music: Hip Hop and Indie (recently been hooked on the artist, Bleachers)
Movies: Love the Lord of the Rings movies, Shawshank Redemption, Airplane! (there's way too many to list here)
Books: I reread the Harry Potter series at least once a year, so probably that
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was a camp counselor for Camp Kesem, a summer camp for children whose parents have cancer. It was definitely one of the most amazing experiences of my life and I learned so much from those strong and brave kids :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I recently started a blog about my adventures with friends around LA. If you're in town for one of the upcoming adventures, you are more than welcome to join! If not, I hope this gives anyone visiting LA a couple ideas of things to see off the beaten path.
