Overview
About Me
I'm not sure what I would call home for now, possible I am still looking for it.
I've been moving and travelling a lot in the past few years. My studies brought me to Munich, London, back to Italy and finally to Nepal were I spent the last couple of months. I am a very passionate traveller and I love remote destinations. Like most surfers I am very open-minded and every occasion is for me the chance to get to know a new culture and meet other travellers. I am about to move to Gent, Belgium where I will start my PhD.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First of all, to discover countries and cultures.
Couchsurfing looks like a efficient way to meet people, have a sitting where we will have a great welcoming and make the first step to trip.
Interests
I love arts and listening to good music. I am learning tango and photography. Looking for hosts who want to do some trekking and outdoors. In my free time I like reading (mostly historical fiction), Scubadiving, Hicking, Swimming. I am very interested in fair trade and sustainable development.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: electroswing, swing- but not too picky otherwise!
Books: Anna Karenina, All the Light We Cannot See, And the Mountains Echoed, Crime and Punishment, 1984, Animal Farm, Brave New World
Movies: Kon-Tiki, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Memoirs of a Geisha, Thank you for Smoking, Good-Bye Lenin, The President, Das Leben der Anderen
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteering in Sikles, Nepal for the past 2 months. It has been the most rewarding time of my life: I was living with a Gurung family (ethnic group of Nepal) in a tiny village at 2000m, nestled in the shadow of Annapurna II and Lamjung mountain range. This is one of the most remote areas on Earth. Here, I worked with an NGO, the Conservation Area Management Committee, which aims at reducing poverty while sustainably managing natural resources in the Annapurna Conservation Area. Simply AMAZING!
Teach, Learn, Share
Learning Spanish and French at the moment, together with tango, pilates and photography.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Any help and all my knowledge. Can do nice Italian cooking and definitely show around my cities (London, Milan, Munich), but always happy to be showed around, and to listen to stories of travelling.
