About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to meet people who loves to travel all around the world, learn from other cultures and other languages also

ABOUT ME

I'm a 34 y.o. engineer, I arrived to Vienna about two years ago to study a master at the University of Vienna, so I'm all down to meet new people in this life-changing experience. I'm struggling hard to learn german, so now i'm able to have some small conversations, which has been a great improvement during the last months

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been in CS since 2008, I've met lots of nice people especially in events, and I have been (lovefully) hosted while backpacking in Brazil, which was a particularly outstanding experience, also in Netherlands during the cold 2016 winter, as well as in other parts, and I have had nothing but awesome experiences. Having shared only with cool people, has been really great, so in returning, now I'm also able to have people at my place

I live with two more people in a flat close to the city center, so I can offer host (preferably one person, two could be talked, PLEASE READ THE 'MY HOME' SECTION BEFORE SENDING YOUR REQUEST!!!) also I'm all down to meet with people to get a coffee or to walk around this beautiful city

Interests

Music, photography, sports, traveling, economics, science, history, geography, politics

Music, Movies, and Books

I like almost every type of music. the most I enjoy is rock in general, but I listen to almost everything: Classic rock (Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, etc), brazilian music (Jorge Ben, Gal Costa, Gilberto Gil, Maria Bethânia, etc), hard/heavy rock (Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Metallica, Slayer, etc), rock/pop (The Cure, U2, David Bowie, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, The Clash, etc), latin american music (Soda Stereo, Charly Garcia, Spinetta, Los Prisioneros, Inti Illimani, Pappo, Los Rodriguez, La Renga, etc), Classical (Beethoven, Chopin, Mozart, Dvorak, Satie, Schubert, Schumann, etc).
Classical music is probably my favourite, I grew up with Beethoven, Mozart and Chopin at home on an almost daily basis so it's part of my life.

In Movies, I like most of Scorsese and Kubrick's. My fave film is "The Shining". I also like a lot Tarantino's movies

My favorite writers... hmmm... Garcia Marquez, Kafka, Hesse, Stevenson... If I had to choose only one book, it would be the tales compilation of Hesse.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Going to the old citadel of Jerusalem, especially the Western Wall, and there, seeing only a few meters away, the Dome Rock

-I went to the 2014 world cup at Brazil

-I wrote a thesis on poop
