About Me
ABOUT ME
I was born in Pensacola, FL but have lived in Europe and 13 states across the US. I love to travel, and have been to nearly 40 countries - it's an addiction. I really value seeing the way others live, and love meeting new people. Constantly moving and being "new" in multiple cities has forced me to operate outside of my comfort zone, and I try to never meet a stranger.
PHILOSOPHY
Make the most out of every situation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I currently live in a studio in Buckhead, Atlanta. I had to turn off accepting guests because the place is now pretty small, however the location is great, and just across the street from most of the bars and many Buckhead restaurants. If you're into that sort of thing, and want to experience southern nightlife and eat some tasty food, the location can't get any better.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Minimal at this point, but have multiple friends who told me I'd love it, so here I am!
Interests
I love traveling (but that sounds cliche on this site, right?), but more broadly I love trying new things. Whether it be food, movies, plays, sights, drinks, or anything really. If it is something interesting I haven't done, there is a good chance I'm willing to give it a try.
I also love watching sports; although lately I've started to question why exactly. Since I grew up in Atlanta I root for the Braves and Falcons along with my college teams -- who all by the way, are perennial choke artists. I swear I'm not a masochist, just your run-of-the-mill eternally scarred and cynical fan.

Music, Movies, and Books
I "read" often, and by "read" I mean listen to audiobooks. I loved Shantaram, Pillars of the Earth, Ready Player One, Gone Girl, Wolf of Wallstreet, The Lords of Discipline, Cutting for Stone, Savages, and The Art of Racing in the Rain.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The 2010 World Cup final in Jo-Berg between Spain and the Netherlands was a pretty cool experience. Watching the sunset over the Cambodian jungle from an Angkor temple while speaking to a Buddhist monk practicing his english is up there as well.
