About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make as many films as possible in this life time

ABOUT ME

I've always wanted to be an animator, so my schooling went from drawing and painting classes to Illustration and Silk screening. Later turned into Photography and Filmmaking and on my last years of my Masters it was mostly 3D Animation. I decided to take a break from production and moved to Minnesota for a teaching position at Brown College where I impart classes on Level Design for Videogames. I try to sneak in as much traveling as I can but lately it has been mostly for weddings and film festivals.... Oh yeah! at some point in my life I took 6 years of Piano lessons but not many people know about that these days.

PHILOSOPHY

Let the world change you, so you can change the world.

Interests

World Cinema, photography, graphic arts, music, books, most types and forms of Art. Theme Parks!!, cooking, and traveling of course!

Music, Movies, and Books

Let's see 3 books I like: Sinuhe the Egyptian, 100 Years of Solitude and The Adventurers.

In Cinema I love the work Pedro Almodovar, Buster Keaton, Hayao Miyasaki, Satoshi Kon, Wong Kar Wai, and Federico Fellini.

Music.... well the list is very long.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Currently I'm in production of my 4th animated short called "Heaven." I decided to leave the family oriented genre and move to a "grown-ups mostly" style with this dark comedy about the secondary effects of organ donation in the afterlife. I'll get some laughs and possibly some stones thrown at me for it, but it'll be fun to work on a new story for once. :)
