About Me

Here we go,

About 2 years ago (in 2013) my friend and i went to Asia to do some backpacking. My first thoughts were: lets give it a go, nothing to lose right? So in the middle of the summer i went to the raining season in the Southeast of Asia. I am not going to tell you what i did there and where i went but i will tell you this. It was one of the best experience i had in my life. After this amazing experience i decided to do some more backpacking (again in Asia) in 2014. This was even a better since i traveled by my own and was forced to meet other people (i'm not the person that wants to be alone all the time). Now i can't imagine a holiday without backpacking or some kind of backpacking.

If i am not planning my road trips/holidays/weekend breaks or whatever, i'm studying, trying to stay in shape and visiting my friends. Currently i'm busy with my Bachelor Mechanical engineering , yeah sometimes i have the feeling that i have no idea what i am doing. About my friends, they think i am crazy, probably because i have the guts to leave the Netherlands on my own, just with my backpack. In all the other cases we are mostly drinking and catch up with each other.

SOON, there will be more information.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to save money and meet the local people.
However it has its downside.
My first couchsurfing went terrible wrong. We (my friend and I) ended up having no place to stay. After some beers and sober thinking, we contacted a lovely girl on CS that helped us out. So maybe there is a downside but again there's at the same time a upside. Learned alot from this situation, don't become hysterical or get in panic, at the end it will all be fine (just use your brains).

Eager to do my second couchsurfing..
