I am a normal, easy going guy, originally from the Netherlands but I live in the US. I am in life sciences and I passionately love music, in fact I cannot do without and I love seeing live music and bands.

Music. Music is the one thing I cannot live without, ranging from minimal, techno and other electronic to classical music (Mahler comes to mind first). Also, I like science and geeky stuff, Bioinformatics (my field of study), biology, art, philosophy and thinking in general... cooking, traveling, meeting people...

I have been to a few places. My trip to Bangalore, India was an eye opener for me. That was one of the most surreal trips I have ever been on. And, being on top of the El Teide on Tenerife was quite overwhelming and emotional...
