ABOUT ME

I grew up in San Jose, CA, graduated from UC Davis, worked in clinical research at Stanford for a few years, and am now in medical school at UC San Diego. I'm trying to build a career our of travelling and working for social justice through academic global health.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel like every interaction is important and tangible, and it can really change one's direction. I look to improve myself by investing in experiences and learning from everybody.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I plan on using this when I start traveling extensively, unfortunately I don't have a couch to offer now, but I hosted in the past in UC Davis and had great experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted my apartment in UC Davis for a couple of years under my roommate's account. He had a great time traveling through Europe through this site. I had other friends use this site throughout the United States.

Interests

I love swimming, snorkeling, surfing, diving... pretty much everything to do with the ocean.

I love listening to and playing all sorts of music and go to shows often. Blackbird is my favorite song to play on guitar, Doolittle is one of my favorite albums, Slug is my favorite rapper, and if it was on mainstream radio in the past 25 years, I probably know every word.
