I heard about Trekking and backpacking 2 years ago and its been 6 trekks since then. I love to meet and share stories with new people.

Travel is fun when you go have minimal plan and no destination. Preplanned travelling is too boring and too mainstream.

I know 'someday' is a synonym for never, but someday I want to go on a trip in a van packed with books and a tent. Boxing and swimming are way of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a child I would think of running away from home and see how it felt to live without a definite roof with unknown people.
As I grew up, I always wanted to travel solo and spontaneously like a vagabond with minimal plan to taste the life in its bare form. I wanted to get out of the self made cocoon called society, routine and habit. But I was too afraid to start.

Recently I came to know its called hitchhiking and there's a community that can help me.

Interests

As a child, I was curious about how my toys worked and I would dismantle them to see how they worked. As I grew up I became curious about how human beings and their brain worked and I am in the process of understanding them :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I fell in love with Maroon 5 while in college, Coldplay, Chainsmokers, Strings and Arjit Singh are others that I adore.

I like biographies, evolutionary psychology stuff and story of evolution of life like Homo Sapiens, NLP like 'Unlimited Power by Anthony Robbins'. Have you read 'its not about the bike'?
Amazed by Dan Brown in fiction and Paulo Coelho in philosophy. Agatha Christie is in my TO READ list. And yes, it would be injustice if I didn't mention Munshi Premchand.

I like classic, motivational, mysterious and intriguing movies. What about 'The Prestige' or 'Pirates of the Caribbean', 'Forest Gump' and 'Top Gun' 'Into the wild', 'veer zara' or 'lone survivor'?

I absolutely adore Game of thrones, first season of Prison Break and Sacred Games. I am gonna start Breaking Bad soon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I first heard about trekking, 3 of us went to explore the jungle without any guide, cook or porter.
It was a treacherous weather with a treacherous terrain. Torrential rains made rocks more slippery and dangerous. Each of us had 15 kg weight on the back.
Everybody advised us not to go but we nailed it earlier than the planned time.
