About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Working hard right now in practice and saving up for a trip later this year
ABOUT ME
I like to read a lot. I've never been into fiction, always non-fiction. Play jazz style on a classical guitar, love all kinds of music but mostly into rap and hip hop. I am a member of Transition Town and have great interest in Permaculture systems and how that may be integrated with my professional interest in Architecture. I like dangerous ideas and deep conversations. Passionate about modern and contemporary art. Into most sports. love to cook, especially the family recipes (I make mean biyani, mung dal, keema, sag aloo and working on rotis)
PHILOSOPHY
Maintain healthy levels of skepticism. Shut your mind up once in a while and just listen. Be patient and tolerent.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed in Slovenia and had a wonderful experience, I would love to offer the same for travelers visiting Letchworth/London/Cambridge. I have a studio flat with a big spare sofabed in Letchworth, a three minute walk from the train station where trains go every 15 minutes to London and every 30 minutes to Cambridge (both places are 30 minutes away). Letchworth is a safe and picturesque town in itself.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed in Slovenia for a while around the time in 2012 that I was partaking in a European Architecture Students Assembly. First night in Ljubljana I found myself in a massive student house party and the last couple of days I was taken on a tour around a Steiner School and part of a mens choir rehearsal! You can only find yourself in these novel and special situations with something like couchsurfing :p

Music, Movies, and Books
films: any that make you think and where the acting is good - i am a fan of the grotesque and perverse; music: house/dance predominantly, but that's not to say I don't like jazz etc. haven't really discovered classical music yet; books: i realised I am not very much a fiction man - love collecting books but they are all non-fiction!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Got through my first year of Architecture without designing a single building...
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make a curry, play some things on the guitar, I'll play you at tennis, badminton, squash, table tennis, can go gymming or swimming, can share intellectual interests over a coffee or a pint
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll be busy during the week as I'm holding down a 9-6 job, so its only on weekends I can afford to show you around. There's plenty of places i the UK I still have yet to visit so I will happily be a travel buddy. Even up for camping if you are so inclined! I can cook and go for drinks etc. in the evenings.
Countries I’ve Visited
Egypt, France, India, Italy, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, United States
