Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm back after a long hiatus! My previous account was held jointly with an ex-partner and we've long since moved on. I've done a lot of traveling in the last number of years, but always to visit people I knew... so I'm getting back into the swing of meeting new people, and the couchsurfing way!

Interests

Music (playing and listening), writing (especially poetry), cooking (mostly vegetarian, gluten-free), biking, board games!!!! I'm up for Settlers of Catan any day.

Lately I've been getting more into my body: doing yoga, dancing, exercising more... I just bought my first pair of Vibrams five-fingered shoes (don't judge me).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is a long subject.

I recently watched Ex Machina and have lots of opinions about it. I also enjoyed She's Funny That Way.

My favorite book is Winnie The Pooh (the original). Seriously. I also like Calvin and Hobbes. When I'm reading Grown Up books I like Haruki Murakami, and I've been reading a lot of nonfiction lately. Martin Prechtel stands out. Definitely read his stuff!
