Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I appreciate and want to support the sharing of shelter with travelers. I want to meet new people (though am totally open to just letting people crash and have their own experience). I want to help people experience a more nuanced and authentic Bay Area. I want to also be shown the "real ______________" by hosts while I'm travelling.
