I am a writer from India. I love to travel, hike, do adventure sports, volunteer, learn to converse in new languages, listen to music from diverse genres in every language I can, read stories and watch movies from different parts of the world. I am fascinated by the diversity of the world and love how it has way more to offer than one can experience in a million lives. Since my graduation as an electronics engineer (though I cannot be counted upon for repairing your TV remote), I have been travelling across India and abroad, participating at international youth forums and volunteering at NGOs. I love to experience life like the locals wherever I go and would love to cook together and share experiences.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Ever since I stayed with a family in Mawlynnong, Megahalaya, India, in their bamboo house, ate food cooked in local spices, and spent a day at their organic farm, I have fallen in love with the idea of staying at homes rather than hotels, or even hostels. It is a much more immersive way of travelling. It gives you the opportunity to travel, by virtue of your conversations and experience, even as you spend time at home with your hosts. Especially as a writer, that means a lot to me. The chance to broaden my perspective, make friends in different parts of the world, and most importantly, build memories, is what pulled me to Couchsurfing.

I am an electronics engineer, a software developer, and a writer. I can discuss and teach aspects about all of these. I can teach English. I have learnt a few things about reforestation, organic farming, ecological conservation and would love to share what I know and learn more. Following my Eurotrip, I plan to start learning to play the ukulele; wouldn't mind the chance to learn a few notes.
