About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Practicing mindfulness around the Globe

ABOUT US

We, Arpita (she) and Arjuna (he), are a laid-back yogi couple, traveling and constantly exploring the inner and outer realms. For many years we were living at a Yoga School and Ashram in Guatemala while traveling Europe or Asia during the summers. In recent years we have moved to Tuscany, Italy at a Gorgeous Forest Yogi Retreat hOMe :)

We are quite complementary to each other, with moments of stillness and activity intertwining.

Check out the site of our Tuscan Sanctuary if you're curious: www.loveevolveawaken.com

PHILOSOPHY

"Heart, be brave. If you cannot be brave,
just go. Love's glory is not a small thing." ~ Rumi

"Before you speak, let your words pass through three gates.
At the first gate, ask yourself, ‘Is it true?’
At the second ask, ‘Is it necessary?’
At the third gate ask ‘Is it kind?" ~ Sufi Saying

"Awareness in the only moment is the key to ever-lasting happiness."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We love to 'meet' new experiences, inspire and get inspired. CS helps to do just that by turning us all into a network of 'global citizens' and a human family!

We've been hosting, surfing and sharing all around the world for the past 15+ years. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Arjuna was hosted a lot in rarely travelled countries by random people that talked to him in the streets which was amazing.

After discovering CS we both stayed with and hosted many people around the world and it was all amazingly beautiful encounters.

Arpita used to have a separate CS account with plenty of references too, which seems to be lost now.

We took a long break from CS after the changes, but now we are back :)

Let there be couch! :)
