Overview
About Me
This whole profile is 5 years out of date. I might write a new one some day.
Currently working in software and find myself with a spare room for the next little bit. I'm a Toronto native and I'd love to show you around the city/give you a place to crash.

CURRENT MISSION
Biding my time until the winds conspire to throw me out of this great city
ABOUT ME
I graduated university last year. Since then I've been doing freelance web and video work, making coffee, and making coffee in the sky (working as a flight attendant). I love adventure, food, music and beer, in that order.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm working on this one. I've been trying to figure out how to reconcile "Try to make something beautiful or useful or enthralling every day" and "Life is a collection of stories that, when put together at the end should be a book worth reading".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have had the pleasure of hosting a bunch of wonderful surfers at my old apartment. I really enjoyed helping them out in their stay in Toronto.
I also called on Couchsurfers extensively in my trips hitchhiking across Canada, and it was a wonderful experience.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've used CS in two trips now, one from Toronto to Vancouver, and the other from Toronto to St. John's. I've had nothing but good experiences.
Interests
The media, sustainable living, music, photography, the incredibly tiny and incredibly large things in the universe, food (eating, cooking and talking about it), beer (brewing and drinking it), cycling, people more knowledgeable than I.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: A Beautiful Mind, Star Wars, Airplane!, My Way
Music: Stars, Kendrick Lamar, Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Books: Anything by Tom Robbins, Cook Books,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've hitched from the Atlantic to the Pacific ocean. I hiked Newfoundland's East Coast Trail and was so stunned by the scenery that I nearly got hypothermia from the rain.
Teach, Learn, Share
Bike repair
Basic music lessons (banjo, harmonica, bass, guitar)
More than you probably want to know about photography
Beer Brewing
I can bake bread and know my way around the kitchen pretty well
I can make you a website
