About Me

My husband and I love to travel, we try to know a new country every year in our vacations. We visited Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Peru, USA, Switzerland and Canada. We also use the holidays to visit places in our own country such as Rio de Janeiro, Paraná and Santa Catarina, and the attractions in our state as Gramado and Canela, São Miguel das Missões and Aparados da Serra.
We usually stay in hostels during our trips because we have the opportunity to meet people from other countries and cultures. Besides, it's cheaper than staying at hotels. We like to share our experiences and listen about the experiences from other travelers.
We love our home, it's not a fancy one but it's cozy and have everything that we need and like in our life. Unfortunately, we are soon moving to Canada so our house is available only for June.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I read about it in a travel blog and searched for more information. In the end, it looked like a great idea to me because we love to travel and sometimes the accommodation is a big deal in our budget. We usually search Booking and Air BnB and I think that we could also use this tool in the future for meeting new people, making friends and travelling more frequently.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many different kinds of music like Jazz, Bossa Nova, Indie music, pop rock, some french music and 80's music, it depends on my mood at the day.
I'm married with a geek culture lover, so he convinced me to watch Lord of the Rings and Back to the Future and I turned into absolutely addict at these movies. I can say these two are my favorite, but I also enjoy a lot watching Harry Potter among many others.
I really enjoy reading books, my favorites are "I am Malala" and "Pride and Prejudice" but some others that I read recently and liked are: "Laowai" by Sonia Bridi, "Isso aqui é seu" by Zeca Camargo, the first four books of "A song of Ice and Fire" (I couldn't read the others because I couldn't hold myself of telling spoilers to my husband, lol) and "The Last Symbol" and "Inferno" by Don Brown.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most awesome thing I've done in my life was leaving the countryside and being by myself for many years and even though the difficulties that I faced, I fought against them and could study and work, being able to have a comfortable life today. The thing is to never give up of your dreams.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share my experiences and tips from the countries that I already visited. Talking about dreams and goals as well. Maybe a little about politics even though its a difficult subject, but sometimes I like to listen about the view of others in this subject.
