Now seriously, I'm a 21 yrs old guy with a restless heart and with insatiable thirst to meet new people and learn from them. Living in a piece of island that some people calls "paradise". Conside myself as an open-minded person. At first I could be a little shy, but once I get confidence I won't stop talking. One my favorites thing to do is talk about everything is on my mind; that's why I always try to be updated about what happens aroun me, but also I'm open to listen and learn new things or maybe listen another perspective.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After two summer hosting people from a volunteer I co-found in my old school, I decide to jump in and create my own profile of Couchsurfing and see what I could learn. I'm born and raised in the Dominican Republic, and travel a few times to the USA. Even though, I don't consider myself as dominican, but as a world citizen, and I think it is a consequence of being open-minded. Also I would like to live the experience of meeting new people and sharing with them all I know and learn anything they could teach; and of course, being hosted.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: I don't have an specific musical genre. But according to my Apple Music library, I'm more of alternative, dance and pop music. I'd like to know more about Jazz.

MOVIES: I watch everything. I'm a huge films enthusiast. All the movies my friends recommend me, I watch them. I couldn't denied that I'm also a huge fan of Harry Potter, and biographical films. I also could add among my favorites: Room, Spotlight, Coco, Hugo, Dragonfly. #funfact: I can easily cry with any film.

BOOKS: I'm not a good book reader, but if I feel attracted for anyone, I don't think about it twice. In my whole live I maybe have read 25 books. Among them Le petite prince, Simon vs the homo sapiens agenda, Hamlet, and others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done until now is have co-founded a volunteer group in my old school called "Solidaridad Agustiniana RD" (you can search for it on Facebook or Instagram) that raised money to help people in need, and for the most important cause, that is a Camp for low-income kids where they can learn more of basic assignatures and recreate in the most fun way. Every year we join with at least 14 volunteers who come from Spain to help us with this adventure during the first 3 weeks of July. I really love this.

Another thing I’ve done, but I don’t really like to talk about it is that back in 2014 I donate all the savings I had to buy a camera, to a family that lost almost everything in a fire.
