About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Love God and love people!

ABOUT ME

I am a well-rounded person. I've had many jobs while I was in university until I realized that I love starting and developing my own businesses. At the moment I am running a student exchange company and an English center and I hope to help other people start businesses in the future in my home country. I love adventure. I love sports. I love reading and public speaking. I play jembe.

Real traveling for me is not about sight-seeing and staying in hotels but about living a life of a local person!

PHILOSOPHY

Don't get caught up in daily routine - invest in eternity

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this point of life I do more surfing than hosting, because my apartment is quite crowded and I am out of town for a big chunk of the year :) I still try to host whenever I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed in the US, Dagestan, Chechnya and Turkey, and hosted at my apartment in Astana.

Interests

I love God and want to know Him more. I love meeting people and getting to know them. I am interested in business, management and public speaking. I really like history, sports and learning new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read many books, but there is one book that I read every day because I deem it as a book of life and wisdom. It's the Bible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hospitality that I've experienced during my trip to Uzbekistan. People are very hospitable in my country but my Uzbek brothers in Christ brought it to a new level!
Another one - the beauty of Grand Canyon, during a lone ascent and the magnifiscence of a starry sky when you sleep in the mountains.

Teach, Learn, Share

It's about giving and receiving.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Long conversations over tea :-)
I am a good cook, and would love to cook some traditional Central Asian food for you and your friends.
