About Me
Hello everyone!!
I'm Armando from Mexico, and i'm looking for great experiences across the world! I love to learn about different cultures for I believe that this opens your soul to different ways of perceiving life. Culture is everything about a country, a state, a city or a little town so it refers to the way people feel, eat, think, or even the way they laugh! Traveling has taught me that we live in a huge world with endless possibilities, a world that is constantly transforming, and getting to know this diversity gives you the chance to experience life in so many different ways, and the most important, to learn to be sensitive towards differences and not prejudging others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really want to committ myself to learning as much as I can from this world that is our world! I truly believe that we should take advantage of this era in which we can travel from one country to another in 1 to 12 hours :) is nothing compared to the times when airplanes didn't exist! I also want to share my culture and to be an ambassador or mexican people because I am deeply in love with my country and my people and I want to show the world that there is a lot to learn about Mexico as well, it is not only the violent place that people see on the news, and it is not only a place for spring break vacations in Cancun. Mexico is one of the richest countries in the world both in natural resources and culture!

What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a capoeira teacher so I could gladly give you capoeira classes. This martial art is not only about kicking, but about singing, playing different instruments such as: the berimbau, the atabaque and the pandeiro, hearing different rythms, dancing maculele which is a type of african rythm, and about learning history of the african and brazilian cultures. I can also share a lot about my city's arquitecture and urbanism systems in case anybody is interested on this, and I know a lot of the most magical places in Ensenada! such as hidden magical beaches. I also love surfing so if anybody feels like learning to surf I would gladly share some tips on this :) aaand of course, I know the best food, craft beer, craft wine, and seafood places in the city! And at last but not least, if anybody is trying to improve his or her spanish I can help on that, or if anybody would like to practice portuguese with me that would be amaaaazing!
