CURRENT MISSION

Okay, so here's the skinny. I'm a Peace Corps volunteer from Los Angeles. I'm about the age of 30 and I wanted to do something out of the ordinary. So now, i'm living in a rural village in the Middle East.

ABOUT ME

Hmm... My best friends have always been guys and girls that have shared mutual interests. We have had the kind of friendships that revolved on activities and projects that we worked on together. Whether it was camping, partying, making music, writing, or playing sports. But I guess I'm jumping ahead of myself. I want to say that I am a friendly person, with a healthy curiousity with the world around me. I'm not much of a traveller, but I make wherever I am the best it can be. I like to have fun, and I'm easy to entertain. I try to carry my own weight, and if I can, I will definitely help out a friend in need.

PHILOSOPHY

I think it's okay to be lost. And it's okay to find something that you have been looking for. It's okay to experience pain. And it's okay to cause pain. They say that this moment can never be reproduced, and everything that is worth a damn is in this moment. I think it's okay to be closed up. I think it's okay to be you. And lastly, I think it's okay to not be okay.

Interests

Lately, I've been volunteering in Jordan, but I have always had an inclination to help folks. I think it has to do with letting people down in former lives or something. That, and it's just a cool thing to do. I love music...You might find me performing, but I really just love playing for myself. Music, like painting and writing, are very theraputic for my weary soul. I'm far from professional in any of these capacities, but hey, fake it to you make it, right?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I find myself awestruck all of the time. When I saw wild chickens crossing the street I nearly had a transcendental experience. The flash and shine of the material world, as it is now, had almost left me desensitized to the true and natural beauty of the world. And I've been trying to regain my identity as an expression of love and nature.
