Overview
About Me
Hi! We are Armelle and Amine, two French people currently traveling around the world!
Armelle just got her degree in architecture and Amine will be teaching art next year !
We want to explore the world, meet new people, discover other cultures and see astonishing landscapes before settling down back in Strasbourg, in France.
That’s why we decided to make a 9 months trip to South America and South Eastern Asia. We wanted to see everything but we had to choose a few countries to really take our time to enjoy the adventure and truly get to know the local people. We will start this incredible journey by visiting Colombia, Peru and Bolivia !
We are both passionate about art, architecture, and we love drawing. Armelle is a fierce belly dancer while Amine is a dilettante chess player. We also like trekking and talking about various topics. But more than anything else, we love food and experience all kinds of new flavors !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We want to truly experience new cultures far from the touristic roads and be able to meet new people, debate with them, learn new things including new langages ! We strive to meddle with the local people to really immerse ourselves in the culture, and not just pass by.

Music, Movies, and Books
Armelle is especially fond of animated movies, she loves to listen so many kind of music, from arabic music to rock and reggae. Amine is a real cinephile and saw almost every good movie ever made ! He loves the whole experience, particularly the soundtracks.
We both love to read about art and detective stories. Amine also enjoys reading philosophy essays while Armelle loves graphic and feminist novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year we went trekking in the French Alps for a few days and even though it was physically tough, we had the chance to sleep in a cute little cabin (only big enough to fit the both of us) with an extraordinary view over the valley and to top it off, the unexpected visit of a majestic ibex !
Teach, Learn, Share
We will be able to show you some basics in drawing, to talk about our culture and our language, to exchange about art, cinema or chess for example.
We can also cook some French and Tunisian meals!
What I Can Share with Hosts
We would be thrilled to talk about our own culture and experiences over a drink or a delicious meal ! And we, of course, would be delighted and grateful if you could show us your favorite spots in town !
