I've been blessed with the gift of languages and having had truly wonderful parents who've supported me during my studies. Thanks to them and my efforts, I now have a wonderful profession and the freedom to do what I want, when I went.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I book a flight to a country I find interesting! I also help by allowing travellers to stay at my home, plus I give them a tour of Panama and share my experiences (travel, work, etc.) or just about being Canadian and Armenian! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE All positive experiences so far. Visited 79 countries to date.

- Hiked to the Arctic Circle by myself in June 2009 (Auyuuiituq National Park, Nunavut, Canada). - Completed 3 full marathons (Toronto, Quebec City, Philadelphia). Best time: 3h42. - Connected with different indigenous populations (Mursi, Hamer, Guna, Embera, Wounan, Ngabe-Bugle, Havasupai) throughout North, Central and South America, Africa and the Arctic. - Mastered 7 languages.
