ABOUT ME

Hey! How's it going?So my name is Anthony (Antonio in Spain), and I am originally from California. I have been living in Spain for the past 5 years, and am currently living in the sunny city of Barcelona.

I am very excited, because it is my opportunity to travel outside of the United States and meet more people:) Because I live in BCN, I have a great idea of what to see and do in the city. So feel free to shoot me a message :)If I can't host you, I definitely would be glad to recommend to you some places to go and check out, and I wouldn't mind comin' along to hang out a bit :) just ask :)A little more info:I used to work at a farm as a tour guide! So if you ever came this way, I would have hook you up, put you on a tour, and had you tried out all the fresh fruits and vegetables in seasons. Then, it was strawberry season--so you could have picked a basket full of strawberries! They are absolutely delicioso!I used to live in Palm Springs, and I occasionally return to visit my family and friends. It is a beautiful place to visit, especially because there are amazing canyons to hike (Joshua Tree National Park is nearby) and we host a lot of amazing resorts to relax by the poolside. While there, I used to teach martial arts/self-defense--probably one of the most amazing jobs I will ever have :)I love to work out, especially running. I like to mix it up though, if possible!Also, I love to try new things, especially if its something like eating crickets,, whatever!But hey, if you have any more questions, totally feel free to ask, write me!

PHILOSOPHY

I had the opportunity to be in a class that challenged me to think in ways that I had not done prior. One of the challenges I found was that I had lacked the insight and knowledge of cultures different from mine, and since then, I have wanted to travel the world--see where we all differ, and how to celebrate those differences :)

Plus, I love to eat food--and I think trying out food other than American food is a great way to meet new people :)

La Alhambra in Granada: I thought it was an amazing piece of Arabic architecture and I was left being stupified and appreciative of the influence of the Arabs in Spanish history.

So I can definitely show you the in and outs of madrid: the museums, history, bars, cafés. I have tried to make the city my "home away from home".

Also, I can show you the best place to eat brunchor hamburgers in Madrid!

and, i can teach a few words in English that really, only Californians say :)
