I live with my wife in the countryside (a tiny village near Żelazowa Wola - Chopin's birthplace). We run a small consulting company together (taxes, audit, books). I like animals, nature, the marshy Kampinowski Forest nearby, rivers to navigate, the mountains that are not high.... I long to have more time for sailing, books and music (maybe in a different order). I got used to my autumn in the countryside.... But it's a bit empty here.

The reason I'm on Coachsurfing is that travelling without meeting people is pointless. It's sad when the only conversation in a foreign city is choosing a dish from a menu.

Musica, film e libri

The most important books: Thomas Mann's Buddenbrooks and Hermann Hesse's Steppenwolf with all the contradictions between them. I listen mainly to classical music, rather the older, baroque music. Here, too, I can't decide what I like best. Too many notes... as Emperor Joseph allegedly said about Mozart's music (so in Milos Forman's film Amadeus). I like the film, but if I had to choose the most important film for me, it would be The Remains of the Day (with a great Hopkins and Emma Thompson).
