ABOUT ME

I grew up in both Iceland and the States, living about 10 years in each place. Moved to Iceland at the horribly awkward age of 15, turned out to be awesome. I am currently studying mechanical engineering at the University of Iceland.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have hosted before. Currently only meeting up with the occasional surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted during the summer of 2010. The flora of people that you get to know through couch surfing is amazing. I always relate it to traveling without ever leaving your home, quite convenient actually. I would recommend this to anyone for any reason.

Intereses

I create things, so I am usually working on 2 or 3 projects. people who perceive things differently are people I am interested in. im an active guy so athletic pursuits and outdoor stuff like hiking and swimming in the ocean and camping. i am fortunate enough to get to travel quite a bit, which is one of my favorite things to do. the occasional (every weekend) night of debauchery in downtown reykjavik is also great.

I ate an entire 20" pizza in Slovakia. the sun dipping into the ocean at 3 in the morning and going back up without disappearing at my families summer home in the northern most part of iceland. space shuttle launch at night in florida. bergheim club in berlin. jumping into an abandoned rock quarry filled with water somewhere in belgium.
