ABOUT ME

I was not diagnosed with ADD, but I love action, new people and FOOD! Seems that I was not build to sit still for hours, however sometimes I have to, as this is my way of making a living, sitting long hours in front of a computer.

MINI DIARY:

2022: So good I kept this diary, I see that I became a skydiver 5 years after my initial wish! :D I even started sailing and did long journeys across north and Baltic seas!

2018: Living in Vilnius, pushing on mountaineering courses and making as many photos possible.

2015 June 26: Moved to live in Chile. Where I will be working together with my friends project called Motus. Check it out www.motus.io Exciting times!

2015 January 13: Sustainable living was put aside, now its all about flying and new adventures. Day and night dreaming about AFF (Accelerated Free Fall) course and working it into my A-License.

2014 April 14 (my travel is over): Bored office worker, but who is still motivated to turn things around.

Lately my mind turns around sustainable living, building self sustainable house and living in worry free environment with happy people sharing life NOT a place in CONSUMPTION RACE. :)

2013 March 12: Happy traveler, who left his home on the 8th of FEB and so far doesn't look to going back :) Just fell in love with S.E.A., and want to carry on till I experience it to the maximum.

Lately, my mind is just turning around jungles, jungle trekking, jungle camping, jungle survival. This is what I look to experience right now since I am in the environment full of lush jungles!

2016 September: I am back in Vilnius and have a new apartment downtown Vilnius! You're welcome to real experience of oldtown living.

2015 June 26: I relocated to Chile and live now in Valparaiso. I share a room which is not so much suitable for hosting therefore I drop to those so called "Want to meet up" CS'ers :D

2015 January 13th: Now its my time to return something to CS community, so I start to host.

2014 April 14: Since my first couch-surf in Berlin, I have surfed with few more hosts in SEA, this was even more incredible! Just because of CS I have found a JOB in KL, it's unbelievable, how much CS can give you. Thank you Jazzvina.

2013 March 12: I participate lousily. I didn't host anyone from CS since I have joined it, probably I had no spare couch, space or a room, while studying in Wales . I have couchsurfed only once, in Berlin, but this one time was an eye opener, I saw how amazing and generous people can be! Maybe some time soon I will be able to host some surfers in my bamboo jungle hut ;)

Interests

2022 end: Two years a skydiver (B-license), a sailor (Laser2) and outdoorsy dude, atm I spent 5 weekends in a row sleeping in my tent while hiking! Love it!

2018 May: Photography and Mountaineering

2015 end: Finding my way through life.

2015: FLYING FLYING FLYING, one or the other, most better BOTH, skydiving and paragliding.

2014 April 14: My main interest now learn about self sustainability.

2013 March 12: Hahaha, not to take to long, my main interest is Nature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Before I had a story about seeing the shining Plankton. However now i want to share my appreciation to CS community and say what most amazing things it brought me!

Because of CS I:

FOUND A JOB in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur!

FOUND A ROOM in Latvia Riga, when I lived weeks in hostel as there was nothing to rent.

FOUND A HOUSE in Chile Valparaiso, when all other options seemed not suitable for short term stay.

This being said I have had so much good experience in my life because of Couchsurfing!

Teach, Learn, Share

2022: I can teach you how to make fire only using wood to wood friction! :O I learned this and other tricks from our army guys.

2015: I can share anything and everything I know :)

2013 March 12: I can share my knowledge on skills of survival, hmmm if someone would be interested in this, hahaha :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking 🧑‍🍳 so if you’d allow me into your kitchen I could make you food 😅 I wasn’t cooking meant at home for 5 years, so I have learned many vegetarian recipes :)

I can share my survival knowledge, it was my hobby past two years learning military survival at their courses. And since Europe was hit with war, I dwell into theses skills even more!
