The "about me" section is more about "about us" :) as two human beings inhabit this account. Arnaud is French and Harriet is British, we have been living in Cambodia for the last year. I was studying there, and she was working for a local NGO.

We had an incredible year, but have decided to come back to Europe for new adventures. We are taking our time though as we are coming back overland- through Laos, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China, Mongolia, Russia and then through Europe. (Here is our route so far: https://hatandnono.travelmap.net/).

We enjoy meeting new people from everywhere! I have good memories about my Couchsurfing experiences, and would like to continue to meet interesting people, who can give us local knowledge and experiences.

We love to travel and have been lucky enough to visit many countries throughout Europe and South East Asia, as well as the USA, Australia etc. We have also had the opportunity to live in different countries- we have spent a year together in Poland, England, France and Cambodia.

Besides travelling our other interests include: cooking (and eating!), especially Italian and Indian cuisine; drinking nice coffee, wine and beer; being creative (photography, origami, sewing, making travel films etc); sports (badminton, swimming, hiking); and learning new languages.

We like a huge range of music, movies, and books, and are always ready to discover more!
We are big fans of funk and soul, and hip hop. We hope we can introduce you to a lot of good French and British artists.
We enjoy watching a lot of movies, documentaries and series. At the moment we are watching Peaky Blinders (highly recommend)!
We have very different tastes in books- I like to read books about alternative economics and sci-fi, whilst Harriet like to read books about crime and food.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

This travel back to Europe overland from Cambodia so far has been amazing- we have seen, met and experienced wonderful things: riding motorbikes from the south to the north of Vietnam, meeting Laos coffee farmers, visiting some if Asia's best caves and waterfalls....(the list is endless).
We are sure this experience will continue to be amazing all the way home.
