Hi !
I'm Arnaud ! I'm a 24 years old backpacker.
I finished my engineering studies this summer and I'm now taking the opportunity to fulfill a life dream : backpacking full time over several months with no schedule ! There are so many things I want to achieve during that trip ! And this list is far from complete ! I'm sure that the more I'll travel and meet people, the longer it will be ^^
I'm already enjoying the talks, laughs and all the good moments we'll have ! You'll see I'm a very easy going person always with a smile on my face. I'm really open-minded and curious to know more about you !
So far I spent 2 months in Indonesia and 1 month and a half in Australia. I met so many incredible people and did so many awesome things

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want this trip to be about human connection and learning, that's what brought me to Couchsurfing :
I don't want to spend my time in hotels and only travel to see beuatiful landscapes. Well, of course there are places I've dreamt to see and I will definitly visit them but I'am convinced that travelling is so much more than that.
I want to spend every minute to connect with people, discover their culture, talk about mine. Wether they are local people or other travelers, I am curious to know more about the and listen to their stories. I'm sure I can learn many things from them and I'd be happy to teach them as much as I can ! Couchsurfing is a great place to bring people together so here I am !

Interests

Music is life ! I listen to it as often as I can. Sometimes I sing over it. But don't worry, I won't make you suffer my (terrible) singer's skills.

I also love sports ! All of them but my favorite ones are volley-ball ski and swing dancing

I got the travelling bug when I travel all along the pacific coast (from Vancouver to Los Angeles) with my cousin in 2013. We travelled south working in farms and going from places to places without a precise schedule.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a huge fan of music. Last year I literally spent 1/5 of the year listening to my Spotify account. An achievement I'm quite proud of ahahah. I can listen to anything and sing or dance on it. Karaoke is an activity I love, even my voice is terrible. Always fun :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Why restricting to one. Here is a teaser about the things I can tell you about ahahah
- I was invited to speak for an international seminar about how to make money from the internet while in Indonesia.
I crossed Australia from Darwin to Cairns in campingvan
- I snorkeled on the great reef
- I nursed wallabies
- I hitchhiked along the east coast of Australia

I want to learn everything you would like to teach me :) On the other side, I'd be glad to share with you my travel stories, and the things I've learnt on the road. There are other things I could teach you depending of what you want to learn :)
