Hey there!

I live in beautiful Gaspésie in Quebec. It’s a nice place to enjoy my passions: backcountry skiing, biking, hiking, kite surfing, camping and exploring the outoors the best i can. I always love meeting new people with experiences to learn from.
I’ve always been curious about different cultures and languages and i will always be up for a drink and a nice conversation so we can learn from each other lifestyles!
I finished my university degree in civil ingeneering in December 2021 and i try to discover different types of work environment to enhance my experience. One thing i would love is to work abroad so i can learn about the work culture of different countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing mostly to meet new people who can help me discovering the area. Discovering a culture is done mostly by meeting the people that makes it. I can then share my culture and learn about a new one! A place to spend the night is always appreciated, hopefully i can return the favor. I live in a big house with my friends, so theres always a couch, a mettress and a shower available!

Interests

I began alpine skiing at age 4. I went on my first solo-trip at age 18, after traveling almost every year with my family. I love hiking, backpacking and exploring nature, because you're left alone with the environment surrounding you, and i find it really calming. The wonders of nature and the earth have fascinated me since i'm a little kid and i hope it will always be that way. In 2021 i discovered backcountry skiing witch combines my favorite sports: skiing and hiking! It’s an amazing sport that allows you to travel easily on the winter floor in the forest, gives you breathtaking views and super fun skiing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of different music. Trying to discover music from other countries, and different languages. Listening to lots of reggae, latino and Quebecoise music recently. I like reading books about history or science fiction!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Enjoying the winter wonderland of Gaspésie, exploring hidden gullies full of powder snow or travelling on an otherworldly alt: 1000 plateau to climb the highest mountain in Quebec.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good times, good talks and good sleep. Hopefully i can discover typical food of the countries I visit. I will do my best to show my guests my favorite food!
