I'm a graduate student working towards my Ph.D in Chemical Engineering at Purdue studying bacteria and cancer! I love driving and am a sucker for hitting the road as often as possible. Love being outdoors and have been to most of India and the United States on some epic journeys as well as a couple of countries in the Middle East and Europe! Love experiencing new things and cultures and meeting new people and would one day hope to have experienced the world and all it has to offer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that going on vacations and staying in hotels hardly lets you get a feel for the place and turns out to be disappointing considering you probably know what to expect. Couchsurfing on the other hand is the complete opposite where one might get to experience the place and people and possibly live like them for a few days! Now, how cool is that!!

I read a bit and love historical fiction, especially Amitav Ghosh.

I am not that much into movies, but do enjoy them once in a while.

Ph.D! No really, this is a roller coaster unlike any other. Skydiving too!
