About Me

I am a bit crazy, in the fun and for some awkward way:). I am very curious and love seeing new sights and meeting new people. I love beautiful sights and senery and can just enjoy being in awe for a long time. This is my first time traveling solo and thinking of it makes me quite nervous, as I hope that it will be fun and don't know what to expect. Lonelyness seems quite scary to me, but I believe it will be an adventure worth going on. I have a very open personallity and am not quick to judge you for something not considered normal as long as you respect my personal space and boundaries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people that come from completely different places in life than I do. I love the unexpected and surprise aspect of couchsurfing and hope that I can create fun memories with you guys! Plus, I travel on budget and would like to spend my money on experiences rather than living expences if I can help it.

That is why I believe this is a perfect tool for me to accomplish my goal during my travel. If I like it I will want to host once I am back and have the room for it.

Interests

I have many interests ranging from, scientific brainstorming to sports and music. First of all I like music very much, learning why people like it and what makes this song so special to them. Seeing how everyone experiences it differently. On scientific area, I am interested in learning how the universe works, according to your information. Discussing quantum mechanics and complicated and crazy matter of the sort I tend to find very interisting. But I am not limited to scientific discussion and find discussions about visions on life, spirituality and culture in a phylosophic way interesting. Basically, I like asking questions a lot and then discuss it. All in all, I also like doing weird stuff, sporting and just having a laugh!

Oh and food, I love food and new tastes very much!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite Music varies greatly, I just like everything which I can relate to, though they are usually the golden oldies. Though I love the Latin sound I don't know too many artists I really like, feel free to share some! you can also find this in latin styles. But to give you an idea, my favorit and most listened to artist/bands are:

Queen, John Mayer, The Beatles, David Bowie, Will and the People, Van Dik Hout (dutch), Led Zeppelin, Elton John, RHCP, Phillip Sayce, Paul Simon (& Garfunkle), Robert Cray

The balancing of the right amount of weirdness in music is always fun to search for and if you have some cool music or are just passionate about it, I would love to exlore and discuss it with you!

Books: The kiterunner, Angela's Ashes, Mr. Vertigo, The Hobbit, Malazan Book of the Fallen, Earth's Children series

I like reading, but have not done enough of it unforunatly.

Movies: Avatar, Intouchables, Lion King, Nothing Hill, the "black mirror" serie, Harry Potter, the "Narcos" series, 127 hours

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There is many amazing experiences that I have had in my life. But the one that I like to share the most is when I had a conversation with an zimbabwean artist who fled to South-Africa. He told me about how the chickens came by every morning and how he loved watching it. Proceeding in passionatly explaining how the wood would tell him what to carve out of it. He had such a simple way of living and he inspired me with his easygoing attitude. It thought me to appreciate the small things in life.
