CURRENT MISSION
It is my dream to build a globally operating company to transform the world for a future in which people, nature, and technology (ai) have a healthy relationship with each other. Currently I am on the lookout for the right idea and people.

PHILOSOPHY
We are all connected. Personally I think we as humans need to design and build a world in which nature, humans, and technology have a healthy and mutually beneficial relationship with each other. I believe in the Chinese concept of guanxi, which kind of entails the Western idea of reciprocity but then in a larger community where it is good to take from others as long as you give and allow others to take from you. It all flows back, reality is circular.

ABOUT ME
Passion and ambition, I think these are currently the best words to describe me. There are many things that I get excited about: good food, technology and ai, impact entrepreneurship, good design and architecture, travelling, meeting new people.. The list is pretty long.
In general I work a lot, have a regular rhythm of sports and exercise, and I usually eat healthily. My self-discipline is high in order to be able to work productively all the time, but no worries, I do chill and explore :). I have a predominantly vegan diet. Usually I like to get up early, do sports, and then start working.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Every time I am on CouchSurfing I am amazed by the amount of interestinf, kind, and lifeloving people that I share this planet with. It excites me to connect with people :).

Currently I do not have any ties that hold me back anymore, except for my friends and family in the Netherlands. I recently quit my job and now living on my savings. I am exploring and want to find a place to live that is suitable for realising my dream: building a startup and making a big impact for nature and the environment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking the Camino de Santiago, an 850 kilometer hike along the North coast of Spain. It was hard and confronting, but a very worthwhile experience where I cried, laughed, and made friends.
