There is a lot: From electronic music to punk hardcore - it should be interesting. Bands like Radiohead, Pantha du Prince, Animal Collective, Dyse, At the drive-in, Nine Inch Nails etc. I can recommend highly the wonderful NJ Whitey (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OGrBthlZIc). Books like "Everything is Illuminated", "The Corrections" and movies like The Big Lebowski, Magnolia, and everything by Alejandro González Iñárritu (Birdman, The Revenant).
