ABOUT ME

Hi there to all participants in the cs community!

I am Arne, 26 and just finished my master studies of industrial sales engineering at my home university in Bochum. From 2011-2012 I went to Linköping, Sweden, to study abroad for half a year and got friends with people from many different countries.

I love fitness and all sports in general as much as going on vacation (well, who doesn't like that?!) or going out for a drink. I'd say I am the guy my friends ask if the have any tech related problems but hey, I just know how to google best ;)

Since the soccer/football worldcup in Germany 2006 I support Aramark's logistics department in Germany's biggest soccer stadium in my hometown Dortmund (Signal Iduna Park / formerly known as Westfalenstadion).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately there's not enough space to host anybody right now, so I can't offer a couch at the moment. This will change as soon as I start my job next year and can afford to move into another appartement.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My girlfriend and her sister hosted several people while I was staying with them. So I know a lot about spending time with other CS and showing them the places of interest ;)

I surfed several couches myself but didn't have an own profile until last year. So my references start growing from vacation to vacation.

Interests

In my freetime I do a lot of sports or meet friends to have fun and spend time with them. I am a fan of healthy food but I wouldn't say no to a tasty burger, a giant pizza or beer&cockatils at any time ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

There are so many great movies out there and I can't specify any genre I like best. Same goes for TV series which I love to watch. Denise and me have seen a lot and are always open for new highlights! As for music I like everything but hard core heavy metal, everything else I enjoy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping in a marine national park in Thailand was awesome!
