About Me

Currently on a motorbike trip from Cape Town back to Europe with my girlfriend

CURRENT MISSION

Stop to worry about the potholes in the road and enjoy the journey

ABOUT ME

I would describe myself as an open minded and relaxed dude. I like to get to know new people and how they live. I enjoy being with others, but there are times when I just like to walk around on my own and take in the magic of a new place - or places I already know

I love all sorts of Watersports like surfing, swimming, sailing, canoe, diving

PHILOSOPHY

Stay cool but don't freeze

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see as much as possible of the world and this is the best way to make it happen. It´s always nice to meet new people too :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of now, I haven't hosted anyone, but when I found a place in the world somewhere where I want to live for a longer time I hope to give back such those great experiences

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Unfortunately I haven't except from some really nice couchsurfing events any experiences yet. I've been so often invited from people I don't know on the way that I've never tried it here. All experiences were different in their own way, but each time I was able to meet amazing people and I got to see places that I would have never seen without the help of my hosts

Interests

surfing, nature, hitchhiking, people and their stories, reading, motorbike adventurers, writing, bicycling, diving, exploring, mountain biking, collecting good memories, sailing, exchange, all kinds of music, travellers, volleyball, simplicity, climbing, sunlight, photography, sustainability, playing guitar & saxophone, snorkeling, the sea, campfires, snowboarding, adventure, creativity, swimming

Music, Movies, and Books

There are far too many good books out there to list here. I'm reading a lot about philosophy and politics for my studies. My favourite book at the moment is A Bend in the River. This book is probably the best conclusion about African History

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Definitely my hitchhiking trip from Germany to China after High school and many other great trips across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Australia, always through so many interesting countries and places. I met so many friendly, caring and hospitable people along the way which made this to the best experiences in my life

Teach, Learn, Share

At the moment I am travelling with my ukulele and try to learn some new chords
