It´s always difficult to describe yourself in a couple of sentecences... So instead of typing down the usual and stereotype stuff I simply invite you to come over and judge yourself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I came into contact with CS trough some friends. As I always was open to meeting new people and helping them out with providing sleeping place, this immediatly seemed a project that would fit me. Instead of visiting a city ´the tourist way´, stuffed with travelbooks and maps, I always enjoyed more to get into contact with locals. It's getting to know the area from a total different angle than just by reading abstracts in books. That's an experience I had over and over again when I traveled and worked in different cities and countries in the hospitals and got to experience the daily life instead of sitting around in a chic all-inclusive surrounding.

兴趣

Of course travelling is one of my mayor interests. Moreover i love festivals - because here you can match several things - travel, music, people.
I have been on several festivals and not only in Germany.

I love art - myself doing mostly drawing and photography. And I am always interested in museums, exhibitions and happenings of every kind - I like to explore things... the more you can interact with the things you see, the better.

Cinema, Theater and Comics are also big favorites.

Oh .. and I might say that I love riddles! I kind of collect them. So if you know some new interessting brainteaser you'll for sure enter my hall of fame of good and special persons!

I love animated movies and comics. My favorite author is Walter Moers. Bill Hicks and Reinald Grebe are my favorite comedians.
I love lots of different kinds of music from Jazz, folk, reggae and ska to metal (Nina Simone, Flogging Molly, Patrice, Goran Bregovic, Fanfare Ciocarlia, System of a Down, BoltThrower, Cavalera Conspiracy, Soulfly, Metallica,Iron Maiden, Hatebreed)- depends always on my mood. Only HipHop, House and German traditionals probably won't enter my Hitlist.
