Music, Movies, and Books
I love music and go to several music festivals throughout Europe. Best festivals to me are Melt!, Iceland Airwaves and Primavera Sound.
Favourite artists are Sigur Rós, Björk and The Knife. The first one for the beauty of its music, the second one for the artistic aspect and the third one for their commitment to what they believe in and for being one of the few musicians who haven't forgotten that music is an art form.
Movies I don't watch that often, but Tarantino is my favourite director.
I do a lot of reading. Fantasynovels, philosophy or just relaxing books like "the one hundred year old man who climbed out the window and disappeared".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling to the most desolate part of Canada to help working on a homestead.
Moving to the Ecuadorian jungle for a few months to work in an animal rescue centre.
Going on a twelve day hike in west greenland. Trekking from the ice cap to the ocean. Twelve days of solitude in nature, one of the best experiences in my live.
Going on a 14 month trip through north and south america.
Cycling from Ghent to Nice.
