ABOUT ME

I am Aron Meijer. Born in The Netherlands and proud to be! Been traveling for many years. Long trips, small trips, solo and with many people. I travelled by car, plane, boat, bike, hitchhiking or walking. I am easy going. Interested in a lot of things. I am curious about the world and about all things I've never experienced/tried before. Try to make as many Friends as possible and hopefully host them all at my place sometime(please not all at the same time:P).

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Through Couchsurfing we try to find the local experience. Nothing like being invited to a traditional wedding, celebrate a national holiday with locals and just been shown the off the beaten path places local people love sharing with us.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

A 7 month trip trough South-East Asia where I was introduced to hitchhiking and the Couchsurfing community.

Many crazy hitchhiking trips trough The world.

6 month trip through New Zealand. (where I came in contact with luminescent phytoplankton and glowworms).

Seeing an active volcano erupting (El Fuego, Guatemala).

And now a year long round trip trough all the wonders earth and its people have to offer us.

I am a veterinarian so I can teach and give tips for treating and nursing your pet.

To play on my Harmonica.
