ABOUT ME
A reserve wine and reserved individual. Quirky, not corky. Complex; offers a bouquet of silliness and humor, with overtones of irreverent B.S. and subtle notes of coffee, old books, chocolate, sweat, and je ne sais quoi. Good body and firm on the palate, structured and suitable for aging. Great accompaniment for free food, Thai food, thinking and problem solving, hiking, travel, and board games.
PHILOSOPHY
"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."
(either Benjamin Franklin or Albert Einstein)
"Resolve to perform what you ought. Perform without fail what you resolve."
Benjamin Franklin
"Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway."
"There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so."
Hamlet Act II, sc. ii
William Shakespeare
"The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I volunteered for Camp Ronald McDonald, which gives kids with cancer a chance to have a fun summer, there was a 15-year old who was wise beyond his years and who was pretty profound and inspirational. I regret not being able to keep in touch with those kids; wondering how they're doing right now.
