ABOUT ME

I love travel, history, art and photography. I also love to laugh and to talk to people on my travels. I write (pro-bono) on the largest India specific travel forum (indiamike) and am a site moderator there. I dont smoke, dont mind if you do. I love cats, can party occasionally but very sociable otherwise. I dont do drugs. I'm vegetarian (no meat, fish or eggs) but wouldnt mind if my host eats those. I'm deeply interested in culture, traditions, language.

I come from a small family - both parents are retired teachers at the university. Brother is a research scientist.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd be happy to help with spoken and written english should my host be interested in the same. I've lived and worked for 3 years in the United States in addition to my continued exposure to the language here in India.

I have a deep appreciation for Indian culture and can provide explanations as needed, also tips about where to go, what to see, (in an inexpensive way, of course).

I can also cook very good indian vegetarian meals!
