Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The first reason is that, as a student, booking hotels or even hostels can be challenging. But beyond that, Couchsurfing offers something money can't buy: authentic connections with locals and the chance to experience a place through the eyes of the people who live there. It's a unique way to learn about new cultures, make lasting friendships, and share meaningful stories, things you can never truly gain from staying in traditional accommodations or just browsing the internet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Received fully funded trips to Turkey in 2022 and 2023, thanks to multiple certifications and high rankings in competitions related to my field of study. Additionally, I earned a fully funded trip to Shenzhen, China, where my team and I represented Africa in the Huawei ICT Competition after ranking 3rd in the continent, competing on a global stage.
