Overview
About Me
I'm a pretty laid-back guy who randomly decides do non-laid back things. I laugh at just about anything, and I definitely look way meaner than I am. Graduated with a business degree, worked for a couple of years but looking for a bit of a reset. Favorite part of traveling is going places where I get to actually sit and have a conversation with people, attractions are kind of overrated (kinda). I'm an American-born fella of Indian descent.

PHILOSOPHY
Just be happy, respect each other. Be accommodating to others, and hope that someone else will do the same for you. I visit places to get to know the people, because the US (especially Texas) can become a bubble. The best way to learn is through experience and quality conversations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am just getting started! I'm probably looking to surf more often than hosting, mainly because Texas isn't exactly a hotspot of travelers. I just like meeting different people because people who get bored with life aren't trying hard enough.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Minimal....so far!
Interests
I'm a huge fan of Houston and Seattle sports teams (basketball, baseball, Borussia Dortmund, and of course American Football). I was a drummer till a few years ago. I listen to any kind of music, and if I don't like it it's probably because I haven't heard it before. (I'm not kidding, ask me about Albanian Music). Traveling is probably my biggest interest, I just can't get enough.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Anything and everything. Throwback Rap, EDM, Classic Rock, and of course Grunge.
Movies: Anything with Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, or Kevin Spacey
Books: I've recently re-discovered a love for reading. Anything Historical - and Biographies (preferably autobiographies)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Solo backpacking in Egypt in June 2013 was pretty amazing. As the second revolution was starting to rise, there was just a lot of opinions and I had never been able to see a country firsthand going through these kind of changes. Of course the Pyramids and the tomb of King Tut were pretty surreal to see as well.
Beginning a year-long RTW trip in October 2016 - should be pretty fun.
