About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore the world.....trying to make a year long world tour come true!!
ABOUT ME
I am a travel enthusiast (traveled within India and just completed a month long trip in Europe, where I think I have really caught the bug and all day now I keep thinking about when I will get time to go on my next trip). A cricket and tennis buff (I try to catch all of Federer's matches). An avid Harry Potter freak (to the extent of even having read all the weird fan fiction and written poetry about some of the stories). A amateur poet (with my own collection of poems, mostly tongue-in-cheek humour). Reading buff (sci-fi and fantasy fiction, just purchased a new kindle, yippeee!!)
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live. Its the best way to do your own thing and enjoy life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I found couchsurfing to be great when I traveled across Europe recently. It was awesome to meet local people and see their city from their eyes. Its now time to be at the other end and start hosting people who come to Bombay!! Of course, I plan to keep using CS whenever I get my next chance to travel.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Great so far as a surfer. It was pretty unbelievable the king of hosts I had during my crazy trip to Europe. The experience has continued to be be great as a host as well with some nice surfers coming in

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seen Rome with a historian, Berlin with a funny Irish guy, Barcelona with a linguist/potter/cyclist, Utretch with a Dutch local, had an amazing conversation on an Italian train with a Scottish lady, Thailand at New Year's with a bunch of friends who were crazier than me, cycled down Kharudungla in Ladakh (highest motorable road in the world...5700 m above sea level)...crazy bike crash in Luang Prabang, Laos
But best of all was seeing the city I grew up in through the eyes of surfers who had come here!
