I am curious at large and apart from experiments in the lab, I love exploring new places and discovering new cuisines. I am a calm person who loves long walks in nature and loves to keep my surroundings clean. I am also an extroverted introvert who needs time to recharge. I am a non-smoker, enjoy occasional gin tonics and my life mostly revolves around food. At breakfast I am already thinking what I will eat for dinner. Have been a vegetarian since I was born and never had the urge to try meat, currently I am almost vegan. Cooking together and learning new recipes is one of my favorite activities. Going grocery shopping and comparing supermarkets in different countries is also my guilty pleasure :p. I love plants and can spend hours in plant shops. A dream would be to have my own big garden where I can grow fruits and vegetables. Wouldn't call myself a party person because that era never arrived, but salute to people who can stay awake and party until next morning. I am more of a board games and movie nights in comfy pajamas person. I am mostly easygoing who gets along with most people. However, a few no-go's are homophobia, fascism and racism. If you think Bill Gates is trying to install devices in your body or the earth is flat, our conversations won't click either. I also believe in personal space and how one needs "me" time after a while. So if you are hosting me, you don't have to babysit me all the time, I would love exploring on my own and let you be :). I would love to be a part of your daily life and make you a part of mine. As of January 2023, I am reviving my hibernating CS profile, although I was active on other female only platforms (because nobody sends creepy messages there😅). Was inspired by a dear friend to give CS a go again and I really hope to connect with interesting, respectful and funny humans here.
In 2023, I really want to see as many places and meet as many people as I can so I am always on hunt for my next budget trip. Not having something planned makes me really uncomfortable lately.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing because I don't want to go to a certain city, tick a list of touristy spots and go back to my hotel room. I like to get a feel of the place and explore everything on foot if possible. Exchanging conversations on how it is to live in your city and how it is different from mine are interesting to me. Getting ideas about the best spots and freebies that only locals know because I am a sucker for freebies. I also want to keep expanding my worldview about different cultures and perspectives.
