About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live. To learn.

ABOUT ME

I'd like to think of myself as an easygoing and openminded human being. I haven't travelled that much, but I'm eager to change that and gain new experiences and meet new people.

I work as a salesperson in a music shop and study graphic design in an university. In my past life I was a hairdresser. I have also worked as a roadie/lighting engineer/DJ and as a semi-pro musician (which has taken a lot of time from my studies and free time in the past two years, so I took a break). I've tried to learn to play the guitar for about 22 years and I've even built a couple of them with my own hands (very addicting).

PHILOSOPHY

Life is good. It can give you anything you want if you let it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think I'll be more able to host than to travel and surf myself, but you'll never know how things turn out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At this rate, I think I've hosted the whole Europe by the end of the year :-) So far it's been great, to say the least.

Interests

Music (listening, composing, playing, singing, collecting CDs, vinyls and DVDs, gigs, tinkering with equipment), comics, movies, sports (jogging, volleyball, badminton), graphic design

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Both kinds, heavy and metal. Heavy in my case could mean anything from Tom Waits to Depeche Mode.

Movies: Anything goes, but mainly action, thrillers and fantasy. I also have a dark past as a horror fanatic. And I love British comedy (Monty Python, Blackadder, Father Ted).

Books: Graphic novels and books related to my studies for now... used to read anything. A lot. Just don't seem to find time nowadays. But I list Tolkien, Clive Barker and Neil Gaiman as all-time favourites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think those things are yet to come. I can't single out anything, life itself is amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I dunno... maybe I can teach someone to do tapping on the guitar or to moon the audience Angus Young-style =) I think everyone has something to teach and to learn to somebody/from someone. You just don't always know what it is going to be.

Countries I’ve Visited

Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In
