Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the reasons that I wanted to do a study abroad program was not only to see the world but to meet people. I love meeting folks from the places that I go to see what real life is like there, not just the tourist stuff in the pamphlets from the airport. Don't get me wrong, that stuff is cool and authentic, but I want to see the stuff that's not in the pamphlet. The hidden gems, the traditions of the area at the time, the nightlife, all that jazz. And there's no better way than to talk to the people that live in these cities. So let's do it!

Interests

Music is one of my, if not my main, interests. Regardless of whatever language we speak, music is a language that we can all understand because it talks to our emotions. I love that a collection of words and notes happy, sad, anger, love, and everything in between is just beautiful to me. And when I perform (I play trumpet, French horn, baritone, and a few percussion instruments. I also taught myself piano and I sing.), I love seeing those emotions among those who are listening.

I'm also really into playing cards and I collect them in my spare time. I plan on getting a deck from every place I go if it's available.

Also I'm a huge basketball enthusiast and I've played since I was 5.

I'm interested in a lot more but that's a lot of words to have on here so I'll just stop now.

I will gladly lend a helping hand around your home if you need me. I grew up in a full house with 2 sisters, a brother, mom, dad, grandma, and a dog so I can cook, clean, babysit, list goes on. Go out with you and be the designated driver? I gotchu......well if it's an automatic transmission. I have no idea how to dive stick but I want to learn :-P. Anyways, I'll do whatever you need or want me to :-).
